My Cover Art Design: Article 5 Excerpts

Author Kristen Simmons ran a cover design contest for use on her site when she posts excerpts from her book Article 5. I wanted to make my design be complimentary to the original cover art. It turned out pretty good, I think.

My Cover Art Design: Tiger's Dream

UPDATE (10/1): Just found out that my cover was chosen as the runner-up winner in the cover design contest. So excited about that. :D

Making the Grade hosted a contest to design cover art for Colleen Houck's upcoming final book in the The Tiger Saga, Tiger's Dream. I was so excited, I had to have a go at it. The deadline for entries was yesterday so I figured it would be okay to post mine now. Winners will be announced by Oct.1. Keeping my fingers crossed. :)

Don't Breathe a Word

Over at Confessions of a Bookaholic they are having a contest to win a signed copy of Don't Breathe a Word by Holly Cupala. (Due date for entries has passed.) I decided to give it a try. This is what I came up with.

 

The submitted images are being voted on now thru Jan. 15th so check out the other entries if you'd like. Mine isn't doing so well in the voting department but that's all right.  I had fun working on it! :)
