BTS Tours and Wild Child Publishing are proud to present the Wicked and Wild Halloween Scavenger Hunt. 37 blogs have linked together to allow you to hunt for 37 different words that will be hidden in each post, so at the end of the hunt you will have 37 answers to plug into the rafflecopter. Please DO NOT leave your answers in the comment section. We want this to be fun for everyone, and not take the challenge out of the game. So this is how it works. All the blogs listed below will post their game piece on their allotted date. You are looking for one word (related to Halloween) to plug into the rafflecopter as your answer. For Example: If you are on Close Encounters with the Night Kind, and find your word (clues will be provided for you in the banner) you log into the rafflecopter form and place your answer in the box marked Close Encounters of the Night Kind. Until one day, when a strange applicant to the coven challenges her in a way she had never imagined, and Hagitha realizes perhaps her life is not so boring after all. Hagitha sets up shop as a detective, and soon discovers that with vampires, trolls, dragons, ghosts and more, she may have more business than she can handle!
The trees gradually became thinner, and Hagitha watched as Wytheria reached the edge of an open glade. The odd woman checked carefully in all directions and walked quickly across the moon-washed glade towards a broad rock face. Hagitha hovered at the edge of the meadow and wondered where Wytheria would go, as the sheer wall of stone would have been impossible to scale. Very curious now, she leaned carefully around the tree she was hiding behind and almost yelped in surprise as Wytheria raised her arms and loudly recited what sounded like a chant:
Dogs and bunnies, squirrels and cats
Toads and frogs and rats and bats
Things we like to smash and eat
But them Witches got us beat
Says the critters help them spell
Keeps them all won’t even sell
Thinks we’re dumb, but we is smart
Dress up like a Witchy tart
Wytheria finished the chant with a loud snorting chuckle. The wall started to shimmer, and a wide doorway appeared. Hagitha almost cried out in horror as Wytheria shrugged off her skin as easily as a socialite discarding an evening wrap, exposing the large, green, wart-covered body of a Forest Troll.
